Safa Global Capital is being structured around a multi-layered audit and assurance framework. Below is the framework itself. No auditor or adviser has been appointed yet; they will be appointed through the Safa Global Foundation and named publicly.
Framework
Three independent layers of review, by design.
Financial Audit
Annual financial statement audit by an independent audit firm, appointed through the Safa Global Foundation, under International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
Asset Verification
Independent verification of the assets behind each instrument: title verification for real estate, custody confirmation for commodities, and existence and valuation review for venture holdings.
Review under Ethical and Islamic Financial Regulation
Review before issue, and periodically after, by an independent adviser on ethical and Islamic financial regulation appointed through the Foundation, with reference to AAOIFI Standards 17 (Investment Sukuk) and 23 (Wakalah). Reviews published.
