The portfolio is real today. The capital-markets products are being built on top of it.
The Excellence Fund companies are not a prospectus description of future investments. They are real operating companies, in real markets, with real customers - today. The group was built from the operating layer up: 13 companies across 8 verticals and 8 countries, developed over years before any capital-markets product was designed.
STAC, the Sukuk programme, and the venture LP vehicle are capital-markets products being structured on top of this operating portfolio - giving outside capital a defined way in and a defined way out. Each attaches on its own schedule, subject to its own legal opinion and regulatory clearance. The portfolio does not wait for the products; the products are designed around the portfolio.
